While we do not charge a fee as a percentage or proportion of any award or settlement, a solicitor/client fee is often chargeable and is calculated having regard to the following:

(a) the skill, labour and responsibility involved in your claim and any specialised knowledge given or applied on our part;

(b) the complexity, difficulty, rarity or urgency of questions;

(c) the importance of the matter;

(d) the time reasonably expended by us on your claim; and

(e) the place(s) where and the circumstances in which your claim is pursued.

(f) the urgency of the matter.

(g) the number and importance of the documents prepared or examined.

(h) the amount or value of any transaction involved.

(i) the importance of the matter to you.
